Significant Achievements
Dept.of Nanobiotechnology has achieved drug-delivery specific to target cells.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed with Deakin University. We have just completed an ongoing project with Deakin University in nanotechnology.
Students have registered for the PhD programme with Deakin University in nanotechnology.
We were involved in identifying and fabrication of RNA aptamer against EpCAM molecule for targeting tumor cells and also used bispecific antibody to target tumor cells.
First paper on targeted delivery of paclitaxol in retinoblastoma using EpCAM Conjugated PLGA nanoparticles.
We have fabricated polymer based scaffolds mimicking tumor microenvironment.
Dept. had played a critical role in signing MoU of VRF, MRF with Missouri University, Columbia for strengthening of bilateral research activities.
